Our solution allows people to understand what is being read (and also what is not), when things change, why they change, where the change came from and how often things are changing. The system can also be configured to use metadata linking, which allows a way to associate documents with arbitrary data of your choice, and then report on those associations.
Regulation and legislation exist in almost every industry in the world, add to that quality standards and others, and pretty soon you have a vast set of things to track. Lots of documentation exists to demonstrate how compliance is achieved. Regulation and legislation is subject to constant change and one problem organisations can find themselves facing is identifying the procedures, polices and other documentation that needs to change as a result.
Our solution allows you to setup metadata linking for whatever purposes you need, for example various points of quality standards or legislation, by doing this you can easily identify all documentation related to specific piece of legislation or regulation. In this way when a regulation changes, or legislation evolves, you can easily identify and review documentation related to that metadata and update or remove as required.
Of course, the system is flexible enough to allow you to configure whatever metadata you need to associate with documentation, and report and analyse data based on the links between that data and your documentation.
All changes to all documents are logged, the system can be configured to retain old versions of documentation for archival purposes. In this configuration it’s possible to see what was in force for any given date.
All change requests are logged, if you use change control, any change requests including those that are rejected are recorded, along with the reasons, the original request, and any proposed drafts of the updated documentation.
For complex analytical needs, data can be exported to analytical tools such as Microsoft Excel or other similar tools.
